Camera Modes

There are 19 different modes for photography. I personally like the manual mode because  I get to have full control over all my settings. I get control over shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, flash etc. I get to shoot my photos the way I want and imagine them to be.

Another mode I sometimes like to use is Automatic. It is very easy to use, and its good for when someone or something is moving and you want to take a photo of them.  With automatic, i can just take the photo, and boom, my picture is clear. It also tells me my best setting that i should use for shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, flash etc.

pop art

1. Pop art is bright colors, it became popular in the late 1950s and ’60s that was inspired by commercial and popular culture 2. it explores relationships between advertisement, popular culture, and artistic expression. 3. H e uses bright colors a lot 4. I choose Andy Warhol because of the famous art work that he did of Marylin Monroe.

Read and Write: Why Photography is so important

Photography is important because it allows people to see the world from different perspectives. It lets you capture the moments that you will forever remember. Not only that, but it can impact peoples lives. It can give them a source of hope that a person they lost, can still be with them through photos. Each photo tells a different story, one story can be sad, the other can be joyful, its all just endless.

Photography can change peoples lives. Both good and bad things can and have happened through these photos. Some photos can show that they will be given justice. Some photos show the bad side of the world, the side of the world we do not really see. It can bring up topics that are important, and it can impact the world and us.

Lenses read and write

  1. All camera systems offer a dizzying selection of lenses.
  2. fisheye lenses give a 180° field of view to telephoto lenses up to 800mm
  3. getting a lens  depends on you, how you like to shoot, and what you like to shoot.
  4. Less expensive lenses will generally have variable apertures
  5.  More expensive lenses have a fixed aperture.
  6. all major camera and lens manufacturers offer a variety of focal lengths to satisfy most budgets.
  7. lenses for landscape work tend to be a 14mmf/28, a 16-35mmf/28, and a 24mmf/1.4
  8.  shoot scenes with prominent foreground objects, then wide-angle lens, its the way to go.
  9. Wide angles are also handy in tight areas, like small rooms, cars, caves, etc
  10. Wide angles  can create volume and expansiveness in a limited space.
  11. standard zoom lenses are great walkaround lenses.
  12. standard zoom lenses are versatile, allowing you to do wide-angle landscape shooting, before zooming in to the telephoto end to take a great portrait.
  13. , standard zooms tend to cover moderate wide-angle focal lengths all the way down to a medium telephoto
  14. prime lenses offer just one focal length, such as 35mm, 50mm, or 85mm.
  15. standard prime falls somewhere in that 35mm to 85mm standard range.
  16. whether you choose a zoom or a prime is up to you.
  17. . Most people feel that zooms offer more bang for the buck these days
  18.  prime does force you to think more about composition and point of view, simply because it can’t zoom.
  19. prime lenses also tend to be cheaper than optically-equivalent zooms.
  20. Telephoto lenses also compress distance, making everything appear closer together, as opposed to wide-angle lenses, which distort perspective and make things look separate.

Aaron Siskind is an amazing photographer in my opinion, his work is just incredible. His work is in black and white, so it just makes the photo seem deeper than it really is. One of my favorite things about his work is how he can take normal things and create beautiful pictures with them.
